A stroll in the woods

My home is located right beside a large woodland park and when the weather is nice its such a shame to not take up on the opportunity to go for a lovely walk. Regardless of how many times I've walked around that same footpath I still enjoy every minute. It's a place I've been brought up visiting. Picking apples, brambles and acorns every year when it was the right time to with my Grandparents. I know all the short cuts and the ins and outs of all the trees which I guess is an advantage. Its full of various wildlife from different types of birds to rabbits and foxes. Trust me- you do not want to know what the fox says.

(Back to the point of this post) Jordan and I are very alike as we would much rather be outside than sitting in front of the TV even if it is going out for a short walk around a place we've been thousands of times. This night was especially nice as the sun had been shining all day and was very slowly going down behind the trees. The birds still chirping and bees still buzzing. We did drag out the walk by climbing some of the rocks they have there so we could see the sunset a little better. If you are lucky to have something small like a park or woods right on your doorstep don't take advantage of it and please make the most of taking in what nature has to offer.
